how much does it cost to hire OUR VOLKsWAGEN CAMPERVAN?
The cost per night and minimum number of nights varies throughout the year. ‘Low’ season is cheaper and the number of nights stay is less. ‘High’ season is more expensive and the number of nights stay is more. Sully is a stunning, high-quality Volkswagen campervan that is fully fuelled, insured, clean, sanitised, well equipped, safe, serviced and really well looked after.
Sully comes with a comprehensive equipment list so all you need are your clothes, toiletries, towels and food. We do have a range of optional extras available if you need them but we believe in keeping it simple. That means one price and includes practically everything you need for a great adventure.

We include everything you need for your adventure. A fully fuelled VW Campervan with insurance and breakdown cover. Sully comes with a fridge, twin gas hob, cold water system, solar panel, 230volt / 12volt electrics run via a lithium battery for on-site or off-grid adventures, heater, fresh bedding, pillows, cushions, throw, thermal blinds, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, pots, pans, whistling kettle, cutlery, utensils. We include a welcome pack with a dishcloth, tea towel, washing up liquid, hand sanititiser, tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, oil.
We also include two camping chairs, folding outdoor table, portable firepit, stitches + steel tarp awning, poles, pegs, mallet. Full details are available, when booking. All you need to pack is your clothes, food, toiletries and a towel! We want to make your adventure as easy as possible so you can just enjoy it. We want everybody to have a great experience when they hire with us!
Optional extras
We have a range of optional extras if you need them. Anything from outdoor single or double cooking stoves, gazebos, pizza ovens, birthday bunting or even a guitar. Please ask at the time of your booking. All optional extras are charged in addition to your cost per night.
What to expect from us - before, during and after your campervan adventure
Before we release a campervan to you, we :
Carry out a 23 point clean, inspection and quality check
Let you know the date, time and location of your handover
Give you a comprehensive in person handover, supported with video content plus written information and a how to guide
During your hire period, we:
Offer telephone support via message or call for the duration of your hire
Offer parking for the duration of your stay
Will drop you a message before you are due to return Sully with helpful information such as your drop off time, instructions about what you’ll need to do before dropping Sully back off and local fuel stations.
After your hire, we:
Complete an initial appraisal check to hand Sully back over to us
Follow this up with a thorough check and clean very soon after you return Sully
Let you know about any damage and release your security deposit

the small print
all you need are your clothes, food, toiletries and a towel
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking for hires more than one month in advance. The remaining balance is payable one month before your adventure starts.
Bookings made within one month of the hire date are payable in full.
Insurance/breakdown cover is included driver details will be required. Drivers must be aged 25+.
A security deposit of £500 is required two days before your adventure for all bookings which is refunded after your adventure subject to handover checks.
All hirers are to return the vehicle clean with a full tank of fuel.

Not just any campervan. ‘Sully’ was professionally converted by the team at Brown Bird & Co, Thirsk, Yorkshire. They specialise in creating stunning custom-built campervans using high-quality materials, clever design, and expert craftsmanship for a high-quality feel and finish. You’ll find live edge oak worktops with twin gas hob, oak cabinets containing a dometic fridge and plenty of storage, farrow and ball paint, flush brass yacht fittings, gold knurled handles, and interior details matching the external decals finished up nicely with copper accents and warm white fairy style lighting. Just imagine, your very own boutique hotel / rugged adventure wagon, anywhere in the UK. Oh, and it smells amazing! It’s so good that Sully has been featured on Million Pound Motorhomes! We became the proud owners of Sully in 2023 and decided to launch our very own campervan hire business in 2024. Sully might just be the start of our fleet! Let’s see what the future holds.
